Professional language courses
Tutored professional language course "German for jobs and internships"
- In cooperation with Deutsch-Uni Online (DUO)
- This is an online course. The content is partly offered in a flexible self-study format, and there are also six accompanying, supervised teaching units (online). You will receive valuable feedback from the teacher on an ongoing basis and can ask any questions you may have.
- Period: October 28, 2024 - January 17, 2025
- Supervised lessons: six times on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 18:00 (70 minutes each)
- Course level: B1
- Prerequisite: at least level A2
- Time required: approx. 100 learning hours in total
- Deposit: 75€ (we will refund the deposit at the end of the course if you have successfully completed at least 75% of the course)
Due to the very limited number of 15 places, there is an application phase until September 30, 2024. After a successful application, you will receive a confirmation and invoice for the deposit from us. To the application
Online self-study course "Career entry and working life in Germany"
- Online self-study course of the Deutsch-Uni Online (DUO)
- Scope: approx. 100 learning hours
- Course level: B1; interesting for students at levels A2 - B2
- Free of charge for LMU Munich students.
Personal counseling services
Take advantage of our wide range of personal counseling services:
- CV-Check: The formal and content requirements differ depending on the country of application. Let us check your resume or cover letter and provide you with valuable tips and advice by mail.
- Job reference-Check: You have received an employer's reference in the German-speaking area and would like feedback on it? Get this in a short, personal conversation.
- Personal counseling session: Do you have questions about your prospects after graduation, your opportunities and possibilities, or about starting your career? Let us advise you personally and individually on your questions regarding your career entry.
- Application Counseling: Do you have specific questions about your current application? Ask us these in a personal conversation.
Additional Information
- We recommend that you acquire German language skills of at least B2 level before upcoming job application processes in German-speaking countries, as most companies require these. Here you can find general German language courses at LMU.
